Saturday, September 18, 2004 ::: it's a dream too vivid of an apocalypse nature it was dark well past sunset i assume a loud bang from a crash somewhere near by red fume projecting from the back covering up the sky i sealed the windows and panicked - because one window in my sister's room couldn't be shut without leaving a gap open as if the fume would eventually choke me to death there's no where to go, no where to hide waiting desperately for salvation in our little house it all seemed too real then i woke up. i was partly mad at myself for allowing myself to be scared it wasn't my first time having a dreadful nightmare like that it's always a plane crash. only this time i didn't see the plane. i only heard the crash - which turn out to be some kind of anthrax attack. never question the logic of your dreams. but i was also partly amazed at myself for being able to create such a realistic scene even the smallest detail match with reality - the window in my sister's room still can't be shut properly it was all too real. illogical but valid. and vivid. it's a morning (afternoon to be precise) too beautiful and it's usually after a nightmare that i feel totally at peace the sheer joy of existence in a world that follow some orders scanned through the news. a bowl of hot vege wonton. spent some time in the afternoon being Willie Traynor in John Grisham's world while i danced to some Darren Hayes outrageous beats a dinner with grandpa, celebrating his birthday and after I got home i turned on my stero again and danced to the soundtrack of Save the Last Dance lost myself - when mum suddenly came in asking why i'm so happy and my little brother showed me some of his moves too Save the Last Dance a film that i watched last night silently alone in the room went through the journey with the very cute Julia Stiles a very good film actually real cool dancing scenes backed by cool songs a moving story that touches on bravery and love and somehow i wish i could dance too. and when i turned on my stereo in my room real loud, in full blast dancing to hip hop and some electro pop i know don't have the moves but i can certainly 'move' with the groove perhaps i could achieve a lot in this if i was given the chance way back when i was still young but i'm glad i can at least enjoy some kind of free form movement to the music and truly glad that i can fulfill a little part of my fantasy by being part of med dance i am happy in real bliss. and i'm wondering... maybe this has to do with my nightmare the night before. ::: posted by Wings at 9/18/2004 08:51:00 AM
